Betta Fish and popeye?

  • My fish has popeye in one of it's eyes. Will it go away by itself or do I have to buy something for it?


  • you'll have to treat him. get him an antibiotic like furan2 or tetracycline.
    also, poor living conditions are often the cause of this and most diseases. you don't include much info so I can't tell you what the reason is, but please check out this page to be sure you're giving him proper care (a lot of people don't actually know how to care for a betta properly.... a bowl is NOT suitable).
