How Easy is it to do This...

  • I would like to start up a database site and have found a great site that I would like mine to be like.

    The site is: http://www.vgmdb.net/db/main.php

    (If you wish to login: U: testing P: tesing)

    As you can see users are able to submit items for the database. I have looked everywhere for a mod that does this for vbulletin but found nothing. I have seen the closest thing to this is vBadvanced but even that doesn't do what this site does. I am basically asking how is a site like the one above achieved, or would I have to make it all myself?

  • It looks to me like they coded their own stuff. There is a form hack on vb.org which allows you to make a form for thread submission. I have the same sort of thing on my site for torrent submission - a form that has to be filled out just for thread submission in a couple of specific forums.
